How it works

One mixed recording in.
Isolated speakers out.

On‑device AI listens to the whole file, works out who is speaking when, and writes one clean audio file per person — next to your original recording.

Mixed Audio Multiple speakers On‑device AI Speaker 1 Isolated track Speaker 2 Isolated track Speaker 3 Isolated track
1

Open the plug‑in

Load Speaker Splitter in any VST3 host and browse to your recording. Pro accepts WAV, MP3, AIFF, FLAC and OGG.

2

Set the speakers

Tell it how many people are in the recording — or let Pro's Auto mode detect the speaker count for you.

3

Run & import

The AI analyses the file and writes one stem per speaker next to your original — plus SRT subtitles and a CSV timeline in Pro.

Why Speaker Splitter

Built for podcasters, editors
and post‑production.

Isolating each voice by hand is slow. Speaker Splitter does the tedious part with on‑device AI, so you keep full control of the mix.

On‑device AI diarization

Speaker segmentation plus neural speaker‑identity embeddings decide who speaks when — no cloud API behind it.

100% local & private

No upload, no account, no internet needed to process audio. Client interviews and unreleased material stay on your machine.

Stems + SRT + CSVPRO

Export per‑speaker WAV stems, ready‑to‑use SRT subtitles and a CSV diarization timeline in a single run.

GPU accelerationPRO

Auto hardware mode speeds up analysis on GPU — CoreML on macOS, DirectML on Windows — with automatic CPU fallback.

Up to 20 speakers

Basic handles up to 10 speakers; Pro goes to 20 with Auto detection plus sensitivity, min‑segment and merge‑gap controls.

Any VST3 DAW, any OS

Windows 10+, macOS 13.3+ (Intel & Apple Silicon) and Linux. Tested in Audacity, REAPER, Live, Logic, Cubase and more.

See it work

Real sessions, real splits.

Two unedited runs — a two‑person interview split in Audacity with Basic, and a full stems‑plus‑subtitles export with Pro.

Speaker Splitter Basic — interview split

Pick the WAV, set the speaker count, run — one clean track per voice appears next to the original recording.

Speaker Splitter Pro — stems, SRT & CSV

Auto speaker detection, GPU‑accelerated analysis and a multi‑export workflow: audio stems, subtitles and a timeline in one pass.

Testimonials

Trusted where it matters.

It helped rescue a project we thought would have to be discarded.

— Podcast production customer

Local processing was important because the recordings contained sensitive client information.

Editions

Pick your edition.

Both editions do the same core job — splitting speakers, fully offline. Pro adds formats, speed and export power for serious workloads.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Which DAWs does it work with?
Any host that loads VST3 plug‑ins — for example Audacity, REAPER, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase, Studio One, Bitwig, Ardour, and Adobe Audition (which hosts VST3 effects).
Is it really 100% offline?
Yes. The AI models ship inside the plug‑in and all processing runs locally. No account, no upload, no internet connection is needed to split speakers.
What's the difference between Basic and Pro?
Both split speakers fully offline. Basic ($29): WAV input, up to 10 speakers, CPU processing, WAV stem export. Pro ($119): WAV/MP3/AIFF/FLAC/OGG input, up to 20 speakers with Auto detection, GPU acceleration, fine‑tuning controls, and SRT + CSV export alongside the stems.
Is it a real‑time effect?
No — it's a file‑based processor. You browse to a recording, it analyses the whole file with on‑device AI, and writes one audio file per speaker next to the original. A long recording can take from tens of seconds to a few minutes; Pro's GPU mode speeds this up considerably.
Which platforms are supported?
VST3 on Windows 10+ (64‑bit), macOS 13.3+ (universal binary for Intel and Apple Silicon), and Linux (x86_64 and arm64). The macOS build is signed and notarized.
How does licensing work?
It's a perpetual license — purchase once, use forever, with free minor updates. Support is available through your store order page on Gumroad or MuseHub.
What is the refund policy?

If Speaker Splitter Basic or Pro cannot be installed, activated, or used in a supported operating system and DAW, contact us within 14 days of purchase. We will first help troubleshoot the issue; if the problem cannot be resolved, we will issue a refund.

Refunds may also be issued when a listed feature materially fails to work as described.

Because speaker‑separation results depend on recording quality, noise, overlapping speech, microphone setup, and other source‑audio conditions, refunds are not normally provided solely because the output differs from a buyer's expectations.

Refunds are not provided for change of mind after successful installation and use, except where required by applicable law.

Purchases made through MuseHub are processed according to MuseHub's refund procedure.

Stop chopping audio by hand.

Let on‑device AI put every speaker on a separate track — and get back to the creative work.
